Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect your email address, an optional first name, and which tools you use and when. That's it. We do not store the text you paste into the tools — job descriptions, resumes, and interview notes pass through the AI provider to generate a response and are not written to our database.

What we collect

• Email address. Required to unlock the tools and guides.
• First name. Optional. Used only to greet you in email.
• Tool usage. For each run: which tool, and when. Used for rate limiting and to see which tools are worth building next.

We do not create accounts or passwords. We do not collect your name, company, IP-based location, or any profile beyond the above.

What we do NOT store

The content you paste into the tools is not saved. When you use a tool, your input is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a response, and then it's gone from our side. Job descriptions, resumes you paste, candidate notes, interview transcripts — none of it is written to our database or logs.

This matters, so we're saying it plainly: if you paste a resume into the Resume Scorer, we don't keep the resume. If you paste a job description into the Job Ad Rewriter, we don't keep the job description. Only the fact that you ran a tool, and when.

A note on candidate information

Several tools on this site are designed for input that includes other people's information — resumes, cover letters, interview notes, references. A few things to be clear about:

• You are responsible for having the right to submit that content. By pasting a resume, you are representing that you have permission to process that person's information for hiring purposes.
• We do not retain the content. As described above, pasted content is used to generate a response and is not stored by us. It is, however, processed by our AI provider under their terms.
• Do not paste more than is needed. Please do not paste government ID numbers, health information, financial account numbers, or other sensitive personal information. The tools do not need it to work.

If you would not be comfortable sending a document to a colleague, don't paste it here.

Third parties we use

• Supabase — database and hosting. Stores your email address and tool usage records. Privacy policy.
• Anthropic — AI processing. Receives the text you submit to a tool in order to generate a response. Privacy policy.
• Resend — email delivery. Receives your email address to send you the verification and any newsletter emails you've opted into. Privacy policy.

We do not use advertising networks, ad trackers, retargeting pixels, or data brokers.

Email

We send:

• A one-time verification email when you sign up, so you can confirm your email address and download guides.
• Occasional emails when we ship new tools or guides.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe directly at /unsubscribe. We do not sell, rent, or share the email list.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage to remember that you're signed in so you don't have to enter your email on every page. This is not a tracking cookie — it lives in your browser and never leaves it.

We do not run advertising trackers. We do not currently run any analytics.

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top and note what changed here.
